DESCRIPTION:We need your immediate action on HB 1764 / SB 5578\, which proposes a $25 minimum wage and paid time off (PTO) Mandates. This bill has the potential to impact our industry significantly\, and it is crucial that our voices are heard in opposition.  The hearing is Tuesday\, February 11th at 10:30am\n\n\n\nThese bills mandate a Minimum Wage Increase to $25/Hour by 2031 starting January 1\, 2026. Additionally\, employers are mandated to provide paid vacation & bereavement leaves by 1/1/2028. Employers' right to manage leave is uncertain until L&I issues rules.\n\n\n\nThere are four ways you can make a difference today:\n\n\n	\n	Join us in person at the State Capitol in Olympia on Tuesday\, February 11th at 10:00 am to voice your opinion. We can carpool together to make the trip more convenient.\n\n	Please let us know if you would like to join us in-person.\n\n	\n\n	The most effective action is coming to the Capital in person. Parking is very limited. Carpool and come early. You may have to walk quite a few blocks.
