Everett Schools Career Expo
Everett Public Schools Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department is hosting our first Career Expo.
(From the CTE Dept) - As part of our effort to create an industry pipeline for you and our students, we are hosting this event to showcase local careers to our motivated and diverse group of CTE students.
Students attending are in grades 11 and 12, ages 16-18. Our hope is for them to come and:
· Meet you as a potential future employer
· Ask questions about your company / business
· Learn about paths to obtain a job in your industry
· Leave with an understanding of entry level jobs you offer and potential for advancement
Many of these students already have extensive hands-on experience and have either already earned or are working towards industry certifications. They will have knowledge and experience in the following career areas:
· Advanced Manufacturing
· Aerospace Engineering
· Automotive Technology
· Cisco Networking
· Nursing and Patient Care
· Mechatronics
Thank you for your interest in our inaugural Spring CTE Career Expo! In our ongoing effort to help provide a pipeline from high school to local industry, we created this event to let businesses have a moment to showcase what they do and what careers will be available to our students upon graduation.
