Olympic Peninsula Chapter Meeting - 3 hours class, ADAS and Your Repair Process

As the percentage of ADAS equipped vehicles in operation increases so does the effect of ADAS on your estimating and repair procedures in mechanical as well as collision service. In this 3 hour course, we will discuss the various ADAS systems, their components and how an ADAS equipped vehicle might change or add to your procedures. Identifying when to calibrate can be elusive, we will go over the many general reasons that a post repair calibration or other procedure may be needed and then go deeper into using available resources to identify vehicle and procedure specific calibration events. Just because there are no codes set and no warning lights on does not mean everything is good and working properly. ADAS potentially has control over Steering, Braking and Acceleration and our industry is responsible for maintaining the integrity of these systems.  This class is for everyone, technicians, service writers and owners.
