About Us

Hi, my name is Chris Clark. My wife and I are the owners and I'm the operator of Clark's Tire and Automotive. I've always enjoyed working in automotive. I got my start in the business fixing up tractors on my grandfather Dave's farm while growing up in Deer Park, WA. He taught me a great deal about the workings of machinery and how to work on motors. I got my first job in my automotive career in 1992 at a Les Schwab Tire center right here in Spokane, WA. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to help people with their vehicles. I learned much of what I know today from the training I received from Les himself as well as my other coworkers over the course of my eight years at Les Schwab. The years following, I managed many different automotive companies around the Spokane area. The training and experience I've received has made me part of who I am today. Along the way, I was fortunate enough to meet my life and business partner, Erin. I first met Erin as a customer in a store I was managing in the fall of 2003. We dated until November of 2005 when she became my wife. She is everything to me and my constant inspiration. She inspired me to fulfill my dream of owning my own automotive store. I started out as the co-owner of Lloyd's Tire and Automotive and exactly one year later, I bought out my partner and started Clark's Tire and Automotive at our flagship store on Sprague Avenue in Spokane Valley, WA. My wife is a successful Registered Nurse who's dedicated her life to helping people. She also helps out with the business when she can. My mother-in-law, Gail, is our bookkeeper. Clark's Tire and Automotive is a family company and we do our best to treat all of our customers as family. Our motto is, ''Friendly Neighborhood Service'' and we make every effort to make that apparent to each customer who walks into a Clark's store.
