Action Alert: HB 1764 / SB 5578 - $25 Minimum Wage - We NEED You
We need your immediate action on HB 1764 / SB 5578, which proposes a $25 minimum wage and paid time off (PTO) Mandates. This bill has the potential to impact our industry significantly, and it is crucial that our voices are heard in opposition. The hearing is Tuesday, February 11th at 10:30am
These bills mandate a Minimum Wage Increase to $25/Hour by 2031 starting January 1, 2026. Additionally, employers are mandated to provide paid vacation & bereavement leaves by 1/1/2028. Employers’ right to manage leave is uncertain until L&I issues rules.
